It was great.
At
first, we went to LA just to shop. With the female parental unit, the
sister, and the Joanna. That was aright I guess. But it was hot and I
was getting a headache. So we left at about...3. 3:30 maybe. Then we
were trying to find our way
around to the freeway. Got lost for about 20-30 minutes. But we finally
got there. =]. Got there around 4:30. We stood in line at the movie
theater 'cause my mom and Joanna were gonna watch a movie while we were
at the concert. After they bought the tickets, we had a quick dinner.
Then we finally got the the amphitheater. There was a really long line.
But that didn't really matter 'cause we didn't have pit. And my sister
saw her friend [who was conveniently located at the front of the line.]
so we just got in line with her. And about...10 minutes after waiting,
they opened the gates, and everyone was RUNNING. I didn't wanna run. We
didn't have to run. But we were the first group in so that was cool.
Then they made an announcement about signing up to get a chance to hang
with Simple Plan before the show, so as soon as they gave way, everyone
was running to the Simple Plan car to sign up. I don't even know who
won. I didn't even hear when they announced who won. But when me and my
sister finished signing up, we were looking at the Simple Plan car,
then this girl [who was quite nice] took a picture of us with it. Then
this person was like
"Oh, let me take a picture too!"
So we were like
"....Of us?"
Then he didn't really say anything so we just stayed there and posed
while he took a picture of us. Really weird. After the show we saw him
driving away in the car, so we're wondering where that picture is gonna
end up.
Paramore was
playing outside. I don't know why they had to. But they said it wasn't
planned. So we were listening to them, but not really watching them.
When they were playing, we were buying our stuff. Then out of nowhere,
we see this big group of people walking towards the back gate, so me
and my sister followed. Then we saw a security guard, and I saw a
person, with a girl. Then I knew....it was David. I could tell by his
clothes and his girlfriend. She's really tall. But he cut his hair
shorter so I had trouble deciding if it was him or not. And he was wearing a hood. So then we
watched Paramore for the remaining time until they opened the doors. They're really good. I took a picture with the guitarist. He's cute.
Then we went inside and just sat there until the show started.
The Plain White T's were first. They're a really great band. They're really great live. But they're set got cut short. They were supposed to play another song. But for some reason they didn't. =[.
Then Straylight Run came on. They were really good too. But no one was standing. I bet I would've enjoyed them more if I actually knew some songs.
Then after Straylight Run finished, me and my sister went outside
'cause Tom said they were gonna be in the lobby signing stuff and
taking pictures. So we went out there. They were right outside of our
door. But the line was soooo long! We didn't wanna wait and risk the
chance of missing Simple Plan. So we just kinda stood there. There was
a girl standing infront of me, and she waved to Tom, and he waved back.
Then I waved to him, and he waved back. =]. So then after that we
bought a Simple Plan glow stick. I love that thing. Then we just went
back to our seats and waited for Simple Plan to come on.
Then,
the lights dimmed, and everyone just started SCREAMING. Including
myself and my sister. Then those sirens went off like in the Hard Rock
Live DVD. Then the guitar thingies. I was really excited. Then SIMPLE PLAN
came out, and I didn't know who to watch. I ended up watching Sebastien
of course. He's so funny. After the rap covers, Pierre did the gunshot
thing, and Seb says to Pierre
"...did you just shoot me?"
"Uh...yeah, I'm sor-."
"Why'd you do that?"
"I'm sorry...are you ok? Are you hurt?"
"...I'M OK!"
I have that recorded. I love it. I recorded that aswell as a bit or Promise the rap covers, and a bit of Crazy. I took a bunch of pictures too.
There was a part where Chuck came out and played catch with Pierre, and
David was playing drums, and Pierre was playing bass 'cause Chuck ran
INTO the crowd. Didn't get very far before he got attacked by girls. It
was so cool. He didn't come into our part of the crowd though.
Pierre said Promise went out to all the ladies, but also to the guys
'cause its them guys that have to take care of the girls. <3
During one song, sorry my memory ain't all that good, Tom came out and sang with David. It was great.
And during God Must Hate Me Seb did the thing where he sits on the drum platform and swings his legs back and forth!! He's sooo adorable. I <3 him.
Then later on during the show, David said that he went out to sing with Paramore, then that's when I knew it was him.
OH!! And Jeff talked!! I was amazed. Just because he never talked. He said
"What's up LA"
And that's it. Haha. And there was a part in one song where David
turned around towards Chuck and started making out with himself. Haha.
And before the rap covers started, Pierre was rapping. Frickin
hilarious. OH! and they had a big light up SP for their backround. Its
so cool. I took a picture of it and got it in the backround in my
pictures.
A lot more probably happened and I just can't
remember. But if I do remember it, I'll be sure to tell you people
reading this about it.
And make sure to check out my pictures!!

^Pierre was playing David's bass 'cause Chuck actually ran into the
crowd and David was playing bass. It was really cool. And while Chuck
was running, like 20 people came out from backstage and started dancing
on stage. Funny stuff.
